Accepted insurance plans are listed for review, and patient forms are available to complete before your visit.
Otolaryngology is the medical specialty focused on the ear, nose, and throat, and it sits at the intersection of hearing, breathing, balance, and the voice and swallowing functions that shape everyday life. A board certified otolaryngologist evaluates complaints ranging from nasal pain and chronic stuffiness to post-nasal drip, headaches, snoring, and sinus breathing problems. Because many of these conditions overlap, careful assessment often includes both a physical examination and diagnostic testing, allowing treatment to be matched to the underlying cause rather than simply to the symptom.
Audiology complements head and neck care by measuring how well hearing works and how sound is processed. Hearing loss and the ringing or buzzing associated with tinnitus are among the most common reasons patients seek evaluation, while dizziness and balance concerns may trace back to the inner ear. Formal hearing tests can clarify whether a problem originates in the ear canal, the middle ear, or the inner ear structures, and results guide whether observation, hearing technology, medication, or a surgical referral is the most appropriate next step.
Some ear, nose, and throat problems respond well to conservative management, while others are better addressed procedurally. Sinusitis, whether acute or chronic, may be treated with a combination of measures aimed at drainage and inflammation, and persistent blockage in the nose can sometimes benefit from office-based procedures. When symptoms remain unresolved, referral for surgery may be considered, including ear tube placement for recurrent problems in children. Voice and swallowing disorders, hoarseness, and difficulty with flight-related ear pressure round out the scope of care offered across a comprehensive practice.
